I decided on this selction of fonts as I wanted them to influence what my magazine is about, which is fun, young and cool. If i were to go for something too fancy then it just would not be fitting for my magazine. My inspirations have come from i-D and POP magazine. i-D's font is really plain but in a way it is not boring as the colours they use on it are always bright and the cover image is always striking so this makes up for it. Then in comparison to POP magazine their font is really way out, bright and illustated but they always have a fun cover image too, so it literally 'pops'. I have also thought about drawing out my own typography for this, but this will come later.
